After cleaning over 17lbs of Gills yesterday and getting 7.5lbs of fillets (YUM!!!). I could not quite wake up timely today and try the rising WhiteBass activity... Made it down to the Wisconsin really late and being pressed for time did not stick around for long. Started off good catching them in a current break, but for some reason screwed myself up trying to find a "more effective bait"... Stick with what produces, moron! LMAO After the whities nailed a few short Eyes and Perch. Lost a couple of HUGE FISH and a lot more were slamming the living hell out of the schooled up minnows, but I was clueless to what will trigger them - tried cranks, spinners(both inline and parallel!) all kinds of plastics... Then the DNR came shocking and I decided I have to take a few snaps of that! Is that an effective way to scare the fish senceless or what!? LMAO Smallies/Whities/Carp/Suckers/Catfish!!!!!!!!/And even a Big Old Sturgeon jumped in front of the flatbottom speedboat they were rigging but the 2 foremen did not find anything to their liking, I presume they were looking for a trophy Walleye to stow away for the upcoming weekend tournament @ Rivers'Edge LMAO! I gave my fis away and ran back to the store to tell my story and try and squeese a couple of bucks ;).

They are just doing a "census" when shocking. Counting how many of what species comes up. It does screw up the fishing for awhile, no doubt.

They were really concentrated on getting a certain fish! The circled around a number of times not reaching for a single fish that surfaced ... It did screw my fishing I was looking at themmore than attending my jigging LMAO.
