we went down yesterday (thursday) the water was high and muddy the gates were wide open and alot of current. no fish to speak of, we fished up by the float down to the wing dam and only caught a couple of carp, bumped a lot but couldn't get them to bite. we saw a couple of small saugers and carp caught on the float and that was the extent of it. i don't know if the big walleyes have been in or not? if they have i missed it as we haven't really caught or seen any large ones yet. the water was at 49 degrees.
