Ok guys,I may be going out on the limb,on this one(maybe) but considering what I know so far, about the way the spawn is going, and the weather ahead,I'm going to pick 3 places I think the PWT will be won.1st I'll rule out the Wolf River above Freemont, the fish should be back past there by then, plus the slow travel time on the river, will cut the pressure and odds down. My 1st choice is Clarks Bay,Winneconnie-Second is the (river channel),from Sunset Point in Butte des Morts,to 41 bridge.3rd will be the narrow passage that runs from the white house across from the Pioneer Inn to the end of the Clam Bed reef off Brays Point...Anyone else care to jump on the band wagon on this one? You will have to tell me if I win or not,I'll be in Islamorada Fla. at the time..."CATCHING REAL FISH"....hafe

I tink a ton of fish will come from the Horseshoe! I think your right about the river but I will go with the canes in Butte before the Pioneer!
Good Luck

Very shallow water near the shoreline in Poygan.

I agree, with my 1st choice being shallow water on Poygan, 2nd choice is left over females still held up in the Wolf.

I like the mouth of the fox at Oshkosh and the reefs to the North and South or Clarks. I think its a bit early for horseshoe.

Who would have guessed the Wolf from the Rat to the Mouth? And who would have guessed 1/16th oz. jigs in the river?

Most of the guys I knew that were highest in the ranks, were off Sunset point, and drifting the river channel south of the cane beds.
