| Just back from 9 days on Kellys Island. Some of the best fishing I have had in 20 years of going on this trip, lots of limits of 17' to 23' fish coming from the southwest side out in the flats and big girls coming off the north east and east side. On calmer days we trolled xps keels up high on the boards and ran bottom bouncers off the sides and on the days we had wind we just drifted with bouncers. Colors did not matter when the fish were on, the bite was always better in the stained water than the clear. Released 8 fish over 30" (most east side on the bottom) and 1, 31.5" that easly went 12 lbs released. Others in our group did well trolling reef runners and harnesses also all week. Water temps on friday were 60 degrees on the south side and 58 on the east. Howie. |

| Steve, in in my opinion Kellys Island is the greatest Walleye trip a guy could ever take. Thats what keeps us going all these years. We normaly do not take photos anymore (to many already) but this year we did take a few of the 30 inchers and when I get them back today I will email them to the sight you gave me,thanks. Now that I have Walleye fever out of my system its time to chase some MUSKIES! Howie. |

Location: Rhinelander | I'm almost ready to attack the Muskies this weekend. Slamr is coming up to the Hideout, so Sue and I will be fishing with him some during the weekend, and feeding the poor fellow venson and crappies. |
