Location: Chilton | Did anybody have any luck yesterday. I put in at Stockbridge around noon. I was the only trailer in the lot, when I finished around 3 there was 7 or 8 rigs in the lot. Water was dirty from all the wind, and I didn't catch anything but a bunch of sheeps. Little early yet, but I didn't want to do battle on the river anymore.

Location: Chilton | Fishing on the East Side is getting better for me every day now. Finally caught something a little bigger tonight, nice 21". Trolling raps and wally divers is working for me. Tonight we had walleye, a bluegill, a perch and lots of white bass. |

Location: Appleton, WI | Yes, fishing is defintely getting better. We had our limit tonight trolling the east shore. All fish 15" to 19" It got really hot just before dark. Lots of guys anchored but we got all ours trolling with boards about 100 feet back.
Even caught some very nice sandpike or what some people call sauger. Caught 3 of them, 2 about 19 and 1 about 10" but all had to go back in the water. Thank god I knew the difference between a walleye and a sandpike because there was a warden checking when we came in. The guy next to me not so lucky and had kept a sandpike but said he did not know the difference between the two?? But I don't think the warden believed him and took some pictures of it in his livewell. I'm sure he will be getting a nice fine out of it. It's very easy to tell the difference. Sure is nice to see the sandpike back in the system and some are very big and fat. The fishing can only get better as the temps warm up a bit. Happy fishing!
