Location: Rhinelander | More to come including Video coverage. This was a VERY close contest, decided by a total of three ounces. 31-11 VS second at 31-8, the weigh in was pretty exciting.

Member Posts: 105 | Slamr, The big fish team was Oldenburg and Martine. Had a blast for our first WAT tournament we ever fished. To bad we had all the rain but it made for an interesting finish. Congrate to everyone in the top 7 and to the guys who had a 6 fish limit on Sunday with conditions the way they were. I know we had a hard time getting fish that day, ended up with just 4 for 5.14lbs. dropping us out of contention. Anyway, had an excellent time and will see everyone up in Trempeleau in September. Congrates again to the winners. Tom Oldenburg

Congrats Zach and Curt, Jay and Rick, and Steve and Scott, Robert and Denver, and the rest of the top 7. So my question to you guys is did you have to make any adjustments on the second day or were your fish still in the same location. All of the spots that we used to catch our fish on day one were null of fish on day two. Made our adjustments to late to recover and of course get back throught the locks. Two valuable lessons learned this weekend. Always call way in advance to the locks to make sure you can get through and don't be to bullheaded to make adjustments. Troy P
