Mercury Nationals

There is some concern for those participating in the Mercury Nationals this weekend on Lake Winnebago because Lakeside Park is closed due to high/standing water. All festivities for Walleye Weekend have been cancelled for tonight (Friday 6-11-04) BUT will resume again tomorrow.

I just got off the phone with Jim Coon from TFM Promotions (they’re running it). The Rules interpretation meeting is still on as scheduled. Same time same place at Lakeside Park this evening.

Good Luck Guys

Looks like the water will be too high to get a boat under the bridge to the weigh in area. I am headed over to the meeting soon to see what's going to happen. The water is definitely at flood stage here, and more rain is forecast.

If thet tourney goes forward, I will report on the weights and post images of the action on the message board!
