Location: NW Illinois | Walleyes are going great on pool 14, just not where you would normally look this time of year. Caught a boatload last Sunday flippin like I was after them green bucket mouth things. Now with the water dropping so fast, I found them in some other really unusual places today. Lots of 20-25" fish, and a few eaters to take home for momma! Every day out the fish are somewhere different, but it is really fun to go looking, find and catch them when the pattern does not hold for more than a day. Makes all those days of trial and error seem worth the frustration when things come together and the brain starts to think like a shiny eyed fish!!!
I love this sport!

Location: NW Illinois | I'm saving all but the 15-17"ers for next Sunday. Getting pumped at the chance to fish my first Tourney! I am sure hoping I can stay on the fish and be able to be of some help to you in the tourney! It looks like the water should stabilize about the 9th or so, at least I hope so!
Give me a ring when you can John, got a couple questions for you. If it is o.k., I can call you tommorrow (Sat). I LOVE this new boat, except at the gas pump!!!
