What a blast to see a father and son fishing together, always one upping each other. Really made for some fun helping with the digs as each one caught another walleye.
We were doing the walleye thing today with two guide customers. Awesome day. No-stop action from 9-12 and scraglers before and after. Fished from bottom of Minnesota slough to almost the Spillway. We pulled firetiger clatter shads upstream in 3-6 feet of water and drifted back down with 1/4 oz jighead florescent yellow tail and a taste of crawler... skip the tail or the crawler piece and it was slow going. The walleye measured from 15.5-21 inches with only 2 undersized all day!!!!!!
