I have been wanting to get this on here for several weeks now but haven't gotten around to it.

I have been pulling crawler harnesses made by Three D Tackle Systems in Niagara Falls, NY out on Bago most of the year so far with great success. They also produced very well earlier this year up in Oconto for some big fish. While pre fishing for the RCL league up there we had a 15 minute flury of action that resulted in 7 fish between 27 and 31.5". I pulled these harnesses on bago for the Merc and although I didn't finish well this year we had many fish that would have been great for the table and lost a nice fish at the boat.

I have been talking to a few stores in the area about carrying them. John Dolly of Three D Tackle comes on here from time to time, maybe he can post how to get some. These harnesses are high quality and work well on the Winnebago system and Green Bay.

I don't know of anywhere online that you can get them. If John comes on here he may be able to help all of us.

Goto to your local tackle shops and start requesting them. If they get enough requests maybe they will start to carry them. I know that a very big distributor in Buffalo handles Three D Tackle Systems products. There is a large distributor in Germantown (I beleive) WI that should pick up the product line, then stores in the Wisconsin area could get them. I have talked to several stores in the Appleton area but nothing has happened yet. I will put the bug in their ear again.

Again these are high quality harnesses and they do work on our systems.

Three D Tackle Company also carrys a lure called Challenger I suggust alot of people look at it. I have many of these lures and love them. They are a stick bait but also come in jointed shallow and reg shallow great for trolling with lead core on Bay and Rivers.

I will agree with John Three D is great harness from what I seen in past.

That's a great report on those big 3D thumper rigs. I'm so addicted to using cranks on 'Bago that I haven't gotten to use them. Hmmm, me is thinking on that report Irish.:-)

Did get a chance to meet John Dolly and we fished a few days together in New York on Lake Erie last summer. During that tournament - away from home and family for 2 weeks - it was nice of him to invite me to his home and share his family and a barbecue.

Especially great was meeting his father Jim, and had the wonderful experience of touring his harness factory located in the basement of his house. Jim is an engaging person who captured my attention for a few hours that evening.

If there was a small harness business deserving of more sales, this is it!

I do have extras of these Thumper Harnesses, if anyone has a mind to try them, I would be happy to borrow them out.:-)

Mike, I am on the pro staff for Three D Tackle and you can contact Jim Dolly by email at [email protected] He is located in Niagara Falls, NY. If you contact him and get some harnesses you won't be dissapointed.

Has anyone that e-mailed these guys received an e-mail back? I sent one over 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Apparantly they do not want additional business off the internet???

The guys are pre-fishing for the MWC Chatauqua event held this weekend. They will be back in action middle of next week I am sure.
