With input from the participants, we've decided to make this a live release tournament next year. I'll be gathering info from the DNR and Walleyes for Tomorrow as to the best way to go about this so that we have the best release rate possible.
We had 24 teams this year with a 92% payback of entry fees.

P.S. The 2nd place team brought up a gizzard shad that one of their fish spit up in the livewell. I weighed it for them and it was .10 of a pound. If the shad had stayed in the fish, they would have won. I'm sure it will make for some great family discussion. Tournaments sure have some odd twists don't they? |
