Casper, WY-The Lowrance sponsored Pro Team Walleye Circuit will wrap
up its inaugural season September 9,10,11 on Minnesota's Big Stone Lake, where more
than 80 anglers from CO, IA, KS, MN, MT, SD, ND, WY and Canada have already entered the tournament. They will compete for an estimated $57,500 in prize money
(based on 50 teams). The Ortonville Chamber will host the tournament and assist the Pro Team staff with tournament operations. Teams are allowed six fish that are
14 inches, and only 2 over 20 inches per day. All teams will compete on days one & two. Only the top 20 teams will advance to day three. “ It’s a one day shootout for the top 20 teams on Championship Saturday. We create a lot of excitement at weigh-ins with this format,” says tournament director Billy Brenton. This tournament will also decide Team of The Year. Joe Johnson & John Green (from Wyoming) are in the lead and will have to defend off teams such as Mike McClelland & Bob Propst, (from South Dakota), Kevin Johnson & Ron Erhart (from Kansas) and Mitch Howe & Mike Gibbs (from Montana). The public is invited to attend the weigh-ins, which begin at 3:00 p.m at the City Park. Tournament coverage and related articles will also appear in Western Walleye Magazine, the official publication of the Lowrance sponsored Pro Team Walleye Circuit. Big Stone Lake tournament openings still exist. Further information and entry forms can be found on Western Walleye’s website.

2005 is going to be bigger and better. The 2005 season will consist of six tournaments: two divisions (two tournaments per division), one open tournament, and the qualifying championship. Payout per tournament (which is based on 110 teams), Division, Team of the Year, and the Championship will be posted at the Western Walleye website.
