The pictures will show the story for the start of day two. Moderate fog and calm winds with a bright sunrise greeted the anglers on day two of the PWT's final qualifying event for 2004. PWT Pro Danny Plautz was quite calm considering his almost four pound lead over the field. He feels he will be able to duplicate his bag today if not exceed what he had yesterday. I did manage an interview with him this morning and will have that up as soon as I can.
Storms passed overnight and brought a bunch of rain and high winds. I asked a few anglers if that would hurt any of their bites today and most of them believed it would not do much to their fish because the fish they were on were all deep. We will have to wait and see if that holds true or not.
The Plautz'z, our own Jerry Ruffalo, and Pat Schutte all have found a great pattern and should do good again today. The weigh-in will begin around 2:15 C.S.T. 3:15 Eastern.
