Location: Oshkosh,WI | This one is going to hit hard down in Alabama where my wife's uncle lives right on the water in Mobile Bay. They are a little worried about this one and I can understand why. If the wind doesnt get em the water will. They have packed up the motor home and headed north with worries about what they will return home too. I will take snow storms anyday to not have to deal with those hurricanes....My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone down there over the next couple of days.......
Thanks Guys.

Location: Rhinelander | This is going to be a very bad storm in the worst possible area to come ashore. What a mess, and now there is another one out there.. |

Sounds like the Big Easy could be in major trouble also. Being below sea level will cause major problems. let's all hope for the best. |

| They were saying on the news this morning that over 100,000 people are going to ride out the storm in New Orleans. Some said they would make a "vertical" evacuation. (FYI, N.O. is below sea level!) Imagine riding out a class 4 hurricane on the 20th floor of a glass office tower!! |
