Member Posts: 157 Location: YouTube.com/LyubakaVideo Instagram @LyubakaVideo | Finally there was enough enthusiasts to man the fishing queen boat. After a few days of 5-7 foot seas and high winds sporadic rain. The minimum of 10 was now a wopping 18! We tied our hand-down poles to the railings while on the move, put the chunk squid under the benches and off to deep-sea fishing. If one thinks that sophisticated military location equipment directs fishing tour boats they will get disappointed to see a good ole buoy waiting in the favoured fishing spot... Down we sent our baited hooks (one rod apiece - one hook each) and funny enough we started hooking into fish! Predominantly Grey Snapper, Spanish Grunt with the occasional undersize Grouper (half-day tours only take you so far in so chances are pretty slim) some seird looking Mother-In-Law Fish !? LMAO We were assigned a stringer each -everyone with their own number dropping what we meant to keep behind us and everything else back overboard. The captain changed locations 3 times with the slick intent to show-off his Grouper catching-capabilities - so he did get a nice one (wish I got it instead of the baby groupy that only managed to gnaw through the tip of my finger.) The more chunks of squid flesh on the hooks and the more erradic jerking your bait the better the catch. I was pleased to hook into massive fish twice but both times lost them not even getting the chance to take a look at them - it makes it even harder using somebody's rod for the first time and trying to be in control... On shore the Pelicans were getting impatient for a small tip the guide filleted fish and the bars at the marina are happy to cook your catch - so eventually everyone gets to smile... I witnessed a clumzy pelican get robbed out of his catch by a sly seagull that dexterously landed on the Pelicans head!? and started pecking at his face and eyes with its beak... needles to say Mr Pelican was spitting out all of his bodily possessions... Member Posts: 157 Location: YouTube.com/LyubakaVideo Instagram @LyubakaVideo | Thanx a lot, guys, I am actually looking into getting one of the next "systems" named after me - you would think they should run out of names sooner or later - and my money is on it they have not thought of using my name as of yet ;)... Heh - right now with Ivan regenerating and on his way back, Jean making her 150mph way up here and 2 more picking up speed I do not really know what is more fun - watching them on tv or just stepping out of the room LOL. Rich - pls leave a few eyes up there so I have what to hook into this fall p.s. Do to the river as we spoke once again... Edited by Lyubaka 9/24/2004 9:16 AM

Lists are premade years in advance, maybe you can submit the name for future use though. Getting to the river is now again a problem.........so there will be a few 14.95" walleyes left when you get back.
