Location: Appleton | The winners of the 2004 Midwest Walleye Series Championship were Ron and Vickie Goldapske with four fish weighing 6.62# winning them $4,000. Second place went to Rob Krause and Dave Dretzke with four fish weighing 5.06# winning them $2200. Third place went to Pete Hibbard and Jim Sprague with four fish weighing 4.78# winning them $1,700. Fourth place went to the team of Mike bonow and Ken Seeley with two fish weighing 3.94# winning them $1,200 they also had the big fish weighing 2.46#. The fifth place team was the father / son Team of the Year Erv and Pat Schutte with two fish weighing 3.60# winning them $1,000. The remaing teams received a check for $150. All the teams recieved Championship plaques and jackets at the 2004 Championship banquet which followed the Championship tournament.
Again from myself and the TFM staff a big THANK YOU to the top twenty five teams that competed in the Championship. It was a very tough bite and everyone still came in with a smile on thier face.

| Thanks to Jim and the great staff of TFM. I had a blast this year, fishing the MWS for the first time with my partner, Dennis Skurulsky, AKA Sunshine. I was impressed with the organization, the competition, and the spirit of all the competitors. Made a lot of new friends, and learned alot.
While Saturday was a tough bite, Ron And Vicki did a great job to win. Congrats to the Top 25. Enjoyed it, and I promise, next year, the cold fronts won't be following me at every event! |

Thanks for another GREAT season with TFM. You guys run a great tournament series! I'm proud to be associated with the Midwest Walleye Series. I'm sure that with your leadership the series will just keep getting bigger and better.
The championship was awesome!
Congrats to Ron and Vickie and everyone else who cashed a check. ALL participants are GREAT sticks and GREAT people. It was fun getting to know everyone just a little better at the banquet. |
