Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | I am looking for ideas on topics for this board. The main fuction of this board is Winnebago walleye fishing, but I would like to use it for other waters like Green Bay and Bay de Noc. I would also encourage others to write about catching other species of panfish and gamefish on Winnebago and the ajoined waterways. Also, at this time, there is a thread regarding some questionable posting on the general information board. I would like to thank everyone who comes here to read and post items for making my job as moderator so easy, as I have yet to remove any posts here. See ya on the water. Jerry

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | I would like to see more local tourney talk. For instance, have a list of all the tournaments for the following weekend, who on the board is fishing it and how they end up doing. Maybe even commentary from the contestants. I know we kind of do that but more of a organized format would be nice.

Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | Don't worry Lund Dude......it can't be seen unless you have the new, special edition WalleyeFIRST invisible ink conversion glasses. If anyone would like a set, send me $100 cash and I send them to you!!!

Member Posts: 1314 Location: Menasha, WI | Of course, I would like to see more reports coming from 'Bago, but I realize the most active members on the site are tournament anglers that need to keep that info proprietary. With that in mind, here are some other things I'd like to see more of: 1. I worked my little behind off last winter trying to figure-out walleyes on ice. I eventually found that I could find perch consistently, but still am trying to find the trick to consistently locate eyes through the ice. Any experienced 'Bago ice anglers willing to share strategies? 2. The Fox Valley is growing rapidly, putting more and more pressure on the resource - from angling pressure to water quality issues to exotic species. It helps to be proactive rather than reactive. What can WF members do to protect this great resource? Edited by Viking 10/20/2004 12:10 PM

Thanks Jerry for those glasses! I hope I don't get lead poisoning from them, I'll be sure to hit them spots next year! Don't spend the money all in one place! Good Luck Tyee

Member Posts: 1314 Location: Menasha, WI | I'll have to try that, thanks smitty. I'd been told to fish in the middle of the water column and tries that w/ a little success. Why are they up there? Is that where the bait fish are?
