I just got back from the weigh-in for the final Sheboygan Walleye Club Cabela's qualifier. There were 14 teams and every team had a 2 person limit of 5 fish. There are alot of fish in the river right now, with some big ones being caught too. Best bet was trolling cranks or casting cranks in the tailwaters near the dam.

I will concur with Jerrys report. we fished the SWC on sunday and discovered there is a great bite for 15-20" fish......Congrats to a regular of the board here, Stacker (Denny Fox) and Dave Bierman on the first place finish. Now if we only could of got that 1 big kicker fish, maybe next time.

Anybody be interested in taking a dumb guy that has already put his boat away fishing in Depere this weekend? Believe it or not, I have never fished the river, only the bay. I would love to see what all the fuss is about.

My dad has also put our boat away for the season, so I am in the same boat as you, stuck on the shore. From what I hear the Voyager bite is almost nonexistant due to the low current in the area. I have heard, however, that the muskies are quite active in the river right now, so a guy should almost run a coulpe poles with Musky lures while fishing eyes. Who knows, you could get one pig of an eye on a shallow raider! Does anyone want to take me out there? Good luck out there guys!
