I you are interested in moderating the Wolf River board contact Zach, I've decided to put my efforts in another direction in order to better support my family. It's been a good run, but have tired of doing things that don't provide enough income. My Triton 176 DV Magnum is also for sale at a major savings. This is a personall decision based on nothing but the need to better support my family. See ya on the golf course!!

YUP, all done. Have asked Zach to change the name of the board from my web name of "walleye on the wolf" and start over if he chooses with a "Wolf River" board. That's why I deleted all the threads as most were old and the name needs to change if the board is to continue. I have closed my personal website too in order to concentrate on other things. It's been fun but time for something else. Joel Kunz

Member Posts: 1406 | Zach, yes please restore thoses threads as there is alot of valuable info in there. As for the name I don't believe Doc had a trademark on that but feel free to change it. Doc, Good Luck in the future and hope to see ya on the water! Tyee

Tyee, Zack and I talked just a couple of hours ago and agreed upon a result. I appologized for not informing him but it was a late night decision that he has told me he respects and will follow my wishes as to board. It will fit better as the Wolf River board as part of Outdoor First then as him hosting MY Walleye On The Wolf board per our agreement many moths ago. I'm not going to explain the reasons here and hope we can discuss it some day this fall on the river while catching a few walleye. Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate them. Member Posts: 2393 Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Doc, This is truly a SAD day and a real shocker! You will be tremendously missed both here on WF and in other avenues. You are very open, honest and a class act. You have helped countless numbers of people with fishing. I'm proud to call you a friend!!

THANK YOU! Oh you can bet you'll still hear from me here and there, I'm not deleting my account or moving, I'm just changing some of the things I am responsible for and limiting my passing of knowledge to a few sminars, my published articles and face to face fishing. I have to concentrate on spending the added time in my week to better supporting my family. That's why I closed my Walleye On The Wolf website (originally started as my guide service website) and made some other very difficult decisions. Dennis, YOU sir are the class act as far as I can tell. You are by far more patient then I, do a better job of covering so many of the available walleye fisheries, seem like always at the forefront of helping at the charity functions with time and donations and I am proud to be called your friend. Zach, glad we talked. I've always thought of you as a bright and well rounded human being and you proved that again. You are also a class act and someone I hope keeps his promise to come fishing with me this fall.

Wow, DOc you will truly be missed around here! I can not imagine how it must hurt to have to give up something you love so much, but for your family it is worth it! Good luck in the future and hopefully we can still get out once this fall.

Member Posts: 3899 | Tyee, you're flattery will get you no-where! hehehe I don't know enough about the system, YET, to do the job. However, wolf walleye does, and for that matter, I believe, so do you! I'm settled in at work, in the new house, and looking forward to spending the rest of my life in the Fox Valley. Give me a shout, or send me a PM with your phone numbers. I seem to have lost them in the move.

Member Posts: 3899 | I know where it is. Haven't spent a lot of time on it yet. But Paul promises he will keep me away from yard work next year! hehehe Jerry, I just saw where you work at the Nuke plant. I worked with some IBEW guys over at Mirro on a couple jobs at the rolling mill, back in 92-94. I knew one quite well, but can't remember his name. Chuck? Maybe? He lived just west of 43, south of 151. You probably know him. He lived just up the road from a tourney guy. You, perhaps? This sometimer's disease is bumming me out! hehehe

Any progress on this or is this thread going to die? It looks like most are getting their Wolf River info from other sites right now. I think this is too good or a site to let this section go unused. Hope to see some activity here soon. Good Luck

Labs, this is notoriously a slow time of year for the Wolf River thread. Once things open up there will be LOTS of people using this board.

Thanks Doc, Even though the weekend forcast looks mighty cold, I'm getting the itch to get out there. The ice should really firm up after this spell so I hope to "take to edge off" through the ice a couple times in the next month or so. I'll keep checking in. Think Spring!
