I was robbed of most of my fishing equipment the other day. I'm posting this as a warning to everyone so this hopefully will not happen to you. I thought I was safe in a locked garage but these kind of people that would come in your home and steal are good at what they do. I guess I'll have to get a guard dog next and a loaded gun. Rods, Reels, lures gone, Now I have to deal with the insurance company. Keep a good eye on your house guys. Spring is here and the bad guys are out there.

That stinks! I had that happen many years back, and never recovered a single item. Take pictures of your stuff, and list each item with text. I have my inventory burned to a DVD, just in case. The dog'll work, but the rifle, tempting as that might be....

Steve

Sorry to hear this did they get the electronics too or any thing from else from your boat or did you store that this winter somewhere else than the garage. Call me if I can help or if you need any help.

Good luck with Insurance Company.

If your electronics were stolen get the Serail numbers to Lowrance so if warrenty work is requested they can retreive your stuff and possible start a trail back to rest equipment.

Thanks so much Tom, Irish, John, Tom for your offer to help. That's what makes this site what it is fellow anglers helping each other. I'm glad I had my jigging rods in the house that I was re-spooling. I spent the day putting the list of items missing together for the insurance company. I told them the situation that I have a tournament in a few weeks. Hopefully I can get in and see someone on Monday. Thanks again guys for your offers to help. See you all in a few weeks.
