This being the boat and sport show season, along with many of us rigging our boats and others looking to buy, I thought it would be helpful to start some posts in regards to the different boat brands that are available. In a short paragraph or two, tell us what you like about your Skeeter.

I worked for Skeeter during the development stages of the Multi Specie boats. We started with the 135, then added the 1850 and a 16' 4" model. I was there for about three years. Jerry Meyer, Coleman, and Meridian owned the company during those three years. One of the best GM's in the business, Ken Burroughs, was at the helm most of those three years. He grew the company tremendously before moving to Tracker.

I had a HUGE territory. 10 states was plain too much! I ended up heading back to Tuffy in '93, I believe.
