I know there was some talk of making an "all lakes" permit for launching this year. Has anybody heard or learned anything about this?

Don't hold your breath Big Grass. My understanding of this is that the communitys involved aren't really all that interested in making that happen. They all recognize that less money would be generated and they don't want to be the ones to lose out.

If find someone in local government that is willing to champion such an effort, PLEASE let us all know about it so we can show support. Until then, most of us are going to be paying for multiple season passes.

I do not know of any such discussion on the east side in Calumet County. But I can say Calumet County now has the Brothertown Harbor with in the park system. One permit will allow you to launch at Calumet County Park, Stockbridge Harbor or Brothertown Harbor. Improvements to Brothertown are in the works at this time.

I use the Winnebago County landing (Grundman landing) off County A all the time because it's just down the road from my house. When these permits started they said the money would be used only for the county controlled landings. I don't mind paying the fee at all. It's a good landing. The only thing I see the county doing there is collecting money and cutting the grass (which never gets used). They have 1 porta potty there that smells to the high heavens. I would think that by now they could expand the parking area and at least provide passable restroom facilities. That landing alone generates a lot of revenue. We deserve better.

I found a Survey in Neenah that is being taken, Does anyone know who is running it? There are various questions with a map on the back! It's about time this is looked at more closely!
What would you pay for an annual license to access all the launches on Lake Winnebago ONLY?
Good Luck

You guys have it made over there! I fished Winnebago last year and found the landings to be top notch! Our hang out here Mille Lacs loves to charge!!!! $10 lauch fees here, with no updates for the most part and poor parking! The State owned sites are a bad deal also, people hit your trailer and drive away, plus they are shallow and have alot of hazzards.

I would love to have half the great lauches you guys do!

Gordy, I hear ya loud and clear. I've fished Mille Lacs. 10 bucks a day to launch a boat!!!!!! I used the State ramp down from Fellegy's place and I agree it aint much. We do have some great launches here on Winnebago. It's just that fishing/recreational boating has gotten so popular that we're running out of parking and rigging space. We need more room at Grundman landing, The land is there and should be utilized.
