Subject: Strapping down a kicker

Hi guys,

Looking for some help. Before the days of t8's, pro kickers, panther lifts and bracket pro's, how did you guys strap down your kickers? What kind of strap did you use? How did you attach the strap to the boat/motor? Did the strap have to come off every time you deployed the kicker or did it stay on? Thanks in advance.

I used to have a bracket pro bracket that bolted under kicker and a bar would lift up and support your motor I think they still make them. And then I would rachet strap it down and that worked just fine or use a block of wood then rachet strap it hope this helps!
