I know that this time of year the weeds floating in the tailwaters of the Lynxville Dam can really make fishing tough. How bad are they right now?
Thanks,
Beav

I have'nt Fished Lyxville for about a week but the weeds are still there as they have been for some time with the water fluctuating the way it has been. I would think it would start cleaning up soon though. Dennis

Thanks. I always refer to it as 'nature flushing the toilet'. I just wish that the process would speed up. Seems that the weeds always coincide with good fishing time.

I was out on 10 Sunday. There were certainly weeds out there, but nowhere near as bad as I've seen them. Was even able to troll some without constantly cleaning.

I'll be up Thursday-Sunday. Bowhunting is priority 1, but if I get lucky, we can go play. I'll send you my phone # at my trailer and here.

Hey Beaver

Good to see ya back.Heard that there have been some nice bucks shot around Ferryville.
As for the weeds they are getting less and less.Fishing has been steady small ones first but lately the size has been getting better.Purple hair has been working well.

Good Luck

Oh, I've seen some of those nice ones this year, but wound up putting an arrow through the heart of a small eight pointer will a screwed up front leg. His right antler was screwed up and so was his right front leg. Guess it's my job to put them pout of their misery if I get the opportunity.
Oh well, there's always gun season and many more bow seasons...God willing.
I'll stop by when I get down there.
