I have always suggested Beckman in the past BUT it is a very heavy net especially when extending it out for trolling. My partner purchased a Frabill and now I have found a new favorite. I do not have the exact model number in front of me but I'm sure others can chime in. It's very light weight, very functional, and very easy to expand the handle without worrying about holes lining up.

I have had poor experiences with rubber nets and big fish. I have not tried them all but the ones I did appeared too small and big fish would/could "bounce" out of the net 
I like the nets with the coating. You can get your hooks out much easier and the fish are supposed to protected better from loosing their slime.

| Take a look at the Pro-Formance or Power Catch nets from frabill. The one that I use the most for walleyes is the Powercatch model number 8400. It has the scooper style hoop and a decent sized basket for even those huge pigs.

No worries about hooks in the nets either. The Pro-formance nets also are very nice. Both series of nets have the new powerlock yokes. those can be seen on this site also.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I second the Pro-Formance net by Frabill. Deep bag for big fish, the Powr-Lok is a great feature and the bag's anti-stick doesn't eat every hook that makes it into the net. A must have. |
