Member Posts: 1382 | This morning I spoke with John Holstine of the Arkansas Walleye Association about the walleyes available in 4 systems here in Arkansas. Bull Shoals, Greers Ferry, Norfork, and Lake Ouachita are managed for 'eyes here, and the Association helps the Arkansas Fish and Game efforts in any way they possibly can. To quote John: "Our efforts promote and enhance walleye fishing in Arkansas. We have a small fee to join, $20, and one receives some premiums fromus promoting the Association and walleye fishing here. We assist the area fisheries managers any way we can, and actively promote the walleye fisheries here in Arkansas as what they are; top shelf!" John has been an outstanding host, piloting the poontoon boat for WalleyeFIRST ease-off photos in the morning.
