Just thought I'd post some pictures of the fish I caught while at Lake Cumberland for the PWT.

Here's not one of me with a walleye:

Here's another:

And another:

And yet still another:

As you can see, I haven't lost my sense of humor.

One may wonder what I was using out there to not catch these walleyes? I was pulling spinners on bottom bouncers in 12-16' of water. The top finishers were....................pulling spinners in 12-16' of water.

I can say with all honesty that I did have a great time even though the fishing was very poor. My co-anglers were excellent fisherman and great people. The process for launching and weigh-ins was phenomenal. Organized and it went off without a problem. My hats off to the people of Russell Springs and the folks from the PWT for their preparation and organization. Too bad the area lacks a strong walleye population. Great job to those that put it together a scored big.

My work is cut out for me going into the next event. Saginaw Bay promises to be a great challenge as alot of Michigan tour veterans are fishing the East division this year. Hopefully I can put up some solid numbers and work my way back into this race to the championship.

Jerry do you think there is any chance the PWT will come back to Lake Cumberland? We hope everyone enjoyed their stay here. The walleye population probably isn't what you are used to, but there are some good fish in the Lake. Any time you are in the area and need someone to fish with give me a shout. My brother was one of the co-anglers in the tournament. He had a good first day with 5 fish 9.92 lbs. but didn't catch anymore walleyes the next 2 days.

Jerry,

Glad to see that you have kept your sense of humor. Your day will come buddy. You're too good of a tournament fisherman to expect anything different. The big show will be good to you.

Geeez Jer, you got me!
I waited for 5 minutes for pics to upload. (honest) LOL!

I talked to Shannon this morning. He said all his fish were caught shallow and bit spinners- crawler harnesses. He was saying it was a very difficult lake to fish. Just no numbers of walleyes at all. Tough to figure a pattern when the fish are so scarce, eh?
