In the late 50's my dad caught one off a weedbed near Menasha that was around 40". We were anchored and casting june bug spinners and crawlers. About 15 years ago I lost one near Cowling Bay during the Otter Street tourney. We were trolling small cranks. The fish was on top of the water about 15' from the boat and broke the line. I don't know if it was a Musky or a Pike but it was easily 50". Much bigger than the 23#er I caught during the PWT tourney at Ft. Peck in 1998. It sure would be fun to boat one of those monsters. With the weed beds getting better every year we could see some good ones caught. Good Luck.

Caught a 36" musky fairly close to 41 bridge a couple of weeks a go. Very healthy and fat.

caught a 36" tiger about 18 years ago on the North Shore by the golf course - 7' of water trolling for walleyes. Was doing well on the walleyes when all of a sudden - nothing - no bites - nothing. then it hit. Was about 20 minutes later we got it to the boat. What fun that was catching that fish!!!!

Three over the years. All in the same general area and all while trolling for eyes. Two of them in the 30" range I landed and released without a problem. The third one jumped a couple of times then headed for Fondulac. One hundred yards of 20 lb.test and I couldn't turn him or even slow him down!?
