Location: Neenah, WI | Our tournament ended early on Sunday when I lost my main battery power, including electronics, power steering and trim/tilt. The motor died as we tried to make our way back to the tournament headquarters. We were stranded about 1/2 mile out from the lighthouse, and called the emergency number. A rescue boat came out and towed us in to shore, and we were able to weigh our 4 fish and get the boat on the trailer.
Thanks to the Lighthouse Anglers for the help! You guys deserve a great deal of credit for long hours of hard work helping with this quality tournament.
I just hope I don't need your help next year... |

Location: Neenah, WI | Oh yeah, not so many thanks to the Mercury Marine trailer that wasn't there to help us on Sunday. They left early to get to the BassMaster in Minnesota.
Just my luck. |

Location: Appleton | I like to add my THANKS to the Lighthouse Anglers and Walleyes for Tomorrow men and women that gave up thier weekend to put some LONG hours in this weekend. They were at the park before the anglers arrived and after the anglers left Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Without thier help the Mercury National would not run as smooth as it does every year. They give up thier weekend and put the conservation money back into the Winnebago system to improve the system for everyone. The entire group should be commened for thier efforts. Myself and the entire TFM crew enjoy working with them every year and appreciate the efforts in helping us with some problems this weekend which had nothing to do with thier duties. They should be commended the GREAT job they did this year and in past years.
THANKS TO THE ENTIRE CREW!!!!!!
