Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Just got back from a full day charter. Wow it sucked. N NE winds/light and variable/waves 1 foot or less. Well, like always with any wind from the N NE on the Bay, they were 2's and 3's even with the light wind. Water clarity nill, with some signs of that green (goober) algae starting to get dislodged from the bottom and get stuck on your lines. Surface temp 78 degrees and the fish were SHUT OFF. boated 6 walleyes/2 keeps. Two sheeps, one pike and a white perch. Went from bragging to apologizing in 3 days. Welcome to Saginaw Bay. |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Isn't she a humbling water, Capt. Dan? Sounds like my PWT prefish: pound on 35-50 fish a day with 12-20 good fish between 17-26" only to catch 2 fish during the only tournament day. OUCH!!! I will tell you that we had two days of NE wind while we were there and the bite on Callahan Reef in 7-10' was great. They wanted meat.....no cranks. |

Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Funny you should mention that, as my buddy ran to the Calahan Reef today and I stayed West of the Island. But he only managed to catch 2 legal fish as well. But he was pulling 1/4 ounce tot's with short leads to keep clear of the weeds. |
