Location: Rhinelander | Tough fishing conditions continued on the Mississippi today creating a very excting Day Three weigh in as the Top Ten Pros and Co Anglers crossed the Wal Mart FLW Championship stage today just after 5 PM. When it was over, Robert Lampman lead the ten boat final cut field with a two fish weight of 10 pounds 8 ounces. That lead gave his Co Anlgler, Matt Hiller, a commanding win as the Co Angler Champion, crowned today after all the weights were in. Matt stood quietly onstage while the other teams weighed in, shaking his head as Shannon Kehl and Keith Strauss weighed their four fish basket, convinced that that weight would exceed the 10 pounds 8 ounces he and Lampman had on the scales. The weighmaster keyed up the scale, and the crowd sighed and then cheered as the weight registered on the onstage leaderboard at 9 pounds 4 ounces. The Co Angler win netted Matt Hiller $11000. WalleyeFIRST Radio will have an interview with Matt and his Pro Robert Lampman, plus interviews with Rick Olson, Carl Grunwaldt and Ross Grothe available later tonight.
