Didn't hear much on this board about the 05 season on Winnebago. In general did you have a good year? ok year? bad year? Do you think the bait fish are up? down? I ask these questions as I didn't hear much regarding the trawler and what they found.
Was it even done this year?

Also curious, did we have a good spawn 05 spring? Didn't hear much about that.

Looking for a good conversation on this.

Guest, I did have a good year on bago until July and then it started back up late september. The whitebass had a tremendous year spawing and in about 2-3 years the run will be historic I predict. I will invite the Illinois people to get up here for that one lol. The walleyes had a good year spawning even though it was a little later this year. There is a lot of little walleyes in the system. It will be a test for them to make it through the winter. This winter will be tough fishing I think with so much tiny whitebass and shad the walleye to munch on. This year it seems in my favorite lakes to hardwater fish are either filled with tiny whitebass or shad. If you do get one on, it will probably be a fatty. FLY
