Subject: Saugeye Through the Ice ...

Does anyone have any luck catching Saugeye through the ice? I can catch them anytime of the year accept when the lake is iced over.
I have jigged spoons, set tip ups with minnows .... but have only managed to catch 2 small ones on panfish jigs tipped with a wax worm. We catch them right up to ice up in deep water, but when I return to the same spots with the ice auger it's like these fish have moved or something.

Any help or information would really be appreciated.
