Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | It's funny how life takes it's twists and turns when you least expect it. Many of you know that I've been battling some poor health since last summer. Because of that, it was my intention for 2006 to lay low, fish 2-3 FLW events, maybe a PWT or 2, and a couple small events with my son and wife for fun. I was waiting to figure out which way would be best to go and wouldn't committ to anything until I sell my 2005 Crestliner 202 TS. And then....things change.....quickly!! Last week, my doctors gave me a clean bill of health, which fueled my interest in fishing more this year. Then on Wednesday, I saw a post on Walleye Central from the G3/Yamaha pro staff director, as he was looking to hear from G3 boat owners. For the heck of it, I gave him a call and asked him if I could send in a resume. We spoke later that day and now......I'm running a G3/Yamaha rig and fishing the entire FLW circuit. UNREAL!!! I have already sent emails to Crestliner, Mercury, and EZ Loader to notify them of my changes for 2006, but I would like to take a moment here to thank them for their great support. I still believe that Crestliner makes a great aluminum boat and I hope Mercury continues it's great work with walleye fisherman. I also would like to thank EZ Loader for the great products they produce. By the way.....did I mention my Crestliner is still for sale????

| Congrats on the new Deal Jerry. I'll be fishing the 2006 FLW Walleye League (WI Division) in all 4 tournaments as a boater in my 2005 G3 / Yamaha package. Had it for about a year now and love it! Great rigs. Todd | |||

Member Posts: 617 Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin | Was looking at their website... do they make boats longer than 18 ft. for walleye fishermen?

Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | Their current line includes a group of 18'5" Deep-V boats. They are the 185 series. One of the things I will get to be a part of is the development of a 20' Deep V boat for next year. I'm heading to the factory soon to tour, meet the staff, and see how these boats are made.
