Just when you think it might be a little warmer than last year.....we get a pile of snow or are suppose to tonight and tomorrow. Anyone prefishing tomorrow? I was going to go, but will the landing be plowed out or not? Good thing I still have my chains in the back of my truck. Will be looking to rent them out for a 12 pack of beer per use on Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait!

Just talked to the man who does the plowing. He stated not to worry he will have it cleaned out by Friday afternoon.

Bill,

Have you talked with the corp at all? Just wondering if they will have that barge out of the lock by this weekend? I know the pool above is open and there are fish up north I would love to get at but if not that is the way it is.

See you Friday night.

I’m not much for chains but I have no problem with the BEER. The ramp will thaw if a person waits long enough.. See ya down there on Friday!!!

My brother-in-law is a security guard down at the plant and said that the corp pulled the barge out yesterday so the lock is open. I think tomorrow I will put in at Genoa and make the run up river to La Crosse to see how long the trip is and then prefish up there for a while before coming back down. Just have to check a couple spots out quick.

You fishing tomorrow? Seen Jay last Sunday down river.

Hi guys. So... don't plan on putting in at 7:00 Friday a.m.? We're leaving after work tonight, dropping the kids in Dubuque and heading to G'berg for the night. Leaving from their in the a.m. National Weather Service is talking about blizzard conditions tonight. Maybe we'll throw the snow blower in the boat :0) Don't want to risk killing ourselves getting there and not be able to put in. This sucks!

Jay and I will be down for a little bit of fishing on Friday.
I was out last Sat and the bite seemed slow, for Jay also.
See you tomorrow.
