| I have two lowerance color units on a Lowerance Network. They share GPS information correctly but I'm trying to figure out how to share digital depth and temperature readings.
I have my transducer attached to the console unit and want to share the digital depth and temperature with my bow mount unit. I understand that I am unable to share sonar readings since it is to broad of band for the network to handle. Any ideas ? |

| You could mount a transducer on the bow mounted trolling motor. Just find one with the temp sensor built in. |

| On the unit you wan to display the info, go to Overlay data on the page you want. Cursor to the "ADD" and hit enterd. This will bring up a list of options. One of those will be NMEA 2000. Cursor down to it, and hit enter to expand. This will show you all the data that can be displayed. Pick the ones you want, exit out, and your data will be displayed.
Please note, you must have the latest update installed on both your head units, and the LGC200 GPS receiver to share data on LowranceNet. One added feature is waypoint sharing in the latest release. I don't know exactly how it works yet, but I will find out soon.
Juls, you ever get yours figured out?

| Shep,
Thanks for your help. My problem was that the two sonar units had different software versions. Once I updated them with the most recent software I was able to share depths between units. I wasn't able to share temperatures but that isn't as important to me. |
