After reviewing the time that you responded to the request for information... I believe that unless you were taking an early lunch... you were responding on company time!!!

Now get back to the hardware business!!!

But I do have a request... visit the Salmar resort website and see if you can determine where Capt Lloyd is catching all the fish in the pictures... he says Wisconsin, but I can't tell where from the backgrond pictures...

Thanks

PS,

You're not the boss of me!

Anyways, I don't recognize the shore either, but here are some of my observations. If they really fished on Saturday May 6th, the wind was out of the south and it was sunny. Looking at the second picture from the top of the postings, the lady's hair is being blown from behind, meaning she is facing north with the shore to her left or west. In addition the shore looks like low land, not the bluffs and rock of the east shore.

Now that means anywhere from Geano's to Marinette. My guess is between Peshtigo Point and Marinette. Are any Michigan Bay waters open to walleye fishing yet? I thought walleye fishing didn't open in Michigan water of the Bay until the 15th.

Llyod was fishing wisconsin waters, I can assure you that. We saw him both Saturday and Sunday. However, I will not disclose that info in Llyod's best interest.

Good luck

Remember the old software game called: ”Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego”?

We could have our own version called: “Where on the Bay is Capt. Lloyd Polfus”?

What do we know for our first episode? He “says” he was in Wisconsin. Jason verifies this but we do not know if Jayman is part of the conspiracy or not. If Bob is the super snoop he appears to be, we know that CLP (Capt. Lloyd Polfus) has been sighted on the West Shore somewhere between Geano's and Marinette. Again, we assume this because he would be fishing illegally if he were in Michigan waters.

My interpretation of the confiscated photo’s reveals that he is indeed on the West shores of the Bay of Green Bay in Wisconsin waters. The first picture shows him off a point due South. I believe that this area is the Peshtigo Reef.

But the plot thickens! Zooming into his digital photo and looking at his sunglasses reveals his Gps unit in the reflection. Doing a reverse image shows the exact location.

Come on CLP! You have to hide better than that if this is going to be a fun and exciting challenge.

I can see it now. I bet WF will have their own CLP siting page and a ranking system for the super snoops.

Oh, and by the way……………….. nice fish Lloyd. Great job in finding them.

Here you go Ritch,

http://www.sallmarresort.com/reports.htm

under the "GOLIATH" thread.

Jayman,

I see you working - you were on those same fish, so if you gave up LP you'd give up yourself.

I'd like to change my first guess as to the location. After thinking about the wind direction those fish were probably stacked between the Peshtigo River and Peshtigo Point.

Please consider the following facts (ok.. assumptions)

Height of Lloyd: 6 foot
Size of Goliath: 28 inches
Interior Depth of boat: 25 inches
Elevation of the clouds: 2500 feet
Guy's backside holding fish in first pick covers 44 inches of 50 inch tape on fish ruler in first pick.
Guy's wearing a size 8 wedding ring
Also wearing an extra large jacket (I know cause I own a lot of them!)
Wife (assume wedding ring also) is standing next to a rod with a #5 Colorado blade (ya..I'm that Good)

Therefore... using an ancient sexton and calculating the position of the sun, the color of the water and the shadows cast by Goliath, it's easy to see the he is fishing 3/4's of a mile off shore in 13.6576555 feet of water in the exact spot that I put a mark on my GPS last year... dam.. I thought I had that spot all to myself.

PS. Next report... Bigfoot caught slip bobber fishing for 10 inch Walleyes on Poygan!!

As far as the MI waters question I had, Jayman is correct. I PM'd Butch to find out and the MI side of the bay is open from the Menominee River north to 45 degrees 15 minutes, then straight east to the WI border. 45 degress 15 minutes is about 11 miles north of the Menominee. But until May 15th you can only keep one fish and I'm not sure on the size limit.
