Location: Rhinelander | The bite soured for some on the final day with fickle winds and changing weather, including Day Two Leader Ron Gazvoda, but Jason Feldner stayed on plan and worked through his fish to weigh 21.42 and take the win by over 5 pounds. " I'm not used to all the cameras," he said, " but I'm happy with the finish. It looks like I fished today for second place." This was an incredible bite by any measure, with some Pros catching over 50 walleyes a day. The trick was to lock on some big girls, stay on them, and get them in the boat. See the WalleyeFIRST Leaderboard for the final placements. A special note to a long lost and totally by chance 'found' friend: Doug Coley took 21st at this, his second Pro event. Doug's Dad, Buel Coley, was for years my Dad's favorite fishing partner, a true fishing pioneer and outdoorsman, and was an inspiration to me when I was quite young. Way to go, Doug, I promise he's proud.
