Well I installed my 363, not as fancy as your folks ones Im sure but it will get me going for my first boat and first time boat fishing. I wanted to be able to save local hot spots etc....

anyways I didnt get a chance to take it out yet, will do that in the next couple days, damn work. But It says cant get a GPS fix. My question does the transducer have to be in water to get a GPS fix? I cant imagine why it would.

I looked all through the books and didnt notice anything relating to that. Any hints?
