| I just bought a 1996 Lund ProV and am having trouble with the livewells. It seems that the back livewell fills without any problem, but the top one doesn't fill at all, any suggestions as to how to start problem solving? |

| On almost all boats what holds the water in the livewell is either a plug to stop from draining or a shut off valve or both. So if water is going into livewell but not filling then check what i mentioned above. If there is no water going into livewell then you have pump or switch issue. Turn switch on can you hear pump running? If not is there power to switch? Some have light on them to signify thats there power to switch. Hope this helps |

| I am assuming you checked to make sure the pump is running?
I had a 96 1775 and the front livewell was awefull with airlock. I would have to run the boat in reverse to get the pump to prime. I ended up changing the routing a little to make it easier for the pump to prime and get going. |

Location: Fond du Lac, WI | Does it spit any water into the livewell at all? Or nothing? I have a 1995 1750 Tyee Gran Sport w/ dual livewells. Just under the dash and in front of the throttle are two levers, one for each livewell, and each lever has 3 positions: Fill, Empty and Recirculate. Took me forever to realize that the front one was set to Recirculate and it wouldn't fill up. Not sure if the '96 models are like this or not. If so, maybe the cable for that front lever isn't working or it's stuck? Just a thought.....

| The number one problem with those boats I found is airlock. I had a 1996 1890 Pro V. Same problem, had to back up real hard for the pumps to prime. Which, by the way are located up just before the front deck in the floor. One other trick I used was to put it on recirculate for awhile to get the pump full of water and then switch it to fill. That seemed help prime the pump. Good luck! |
