Member Posts: 30 | I guess the answer this question depends on where you are located in each state. As far as Green Bay goes there's really nothing better. You are 1 hour away from whatever fish you want to catch...most of which is world class. Great Lakes Salmon, Green Bay Monster Walleye's, Muskie, Pike, Sallmouth Bass, Ect., The Fox and Menomonee River spring runs. Steelhead and Salmon river fishing. 1 Hour from northern Wisconsins trout streams, Perch and panfish on wisconsins northern lakes. Catfish on the local rivers. Bowfishing for carp. Largemouth Bass (a.k.a. Lily Carp) fishing on local lakes. I guess for me this question would come down to location...If I lived in a location farther away from all the oppourtunity I may have a different answer

Member Posts: 3899 | Easy choice for me. Wisconsin all the way. We have Green Bay Walleyes, Muskie, and Smallies for quality fish. We have the Bago system for the best tasting walleyes and perch. We have three lines per angler vs one per in MN. Last but not least, we have the Packers, and Lambeau Field, the best place to watch Pro Football. MN has the Humpy Dome, the worst place to watch, or play. Actually, I have fished MN waters, and they have some qaulity fishing. Mille Lacs Lake is a gem, for both Walleye and big Muskies. Plus the Big V is pristine, and a great experience. WI and MN share the Mississippi River. Both are good places to live, both have high taxes, both have 4 great seasons.

| Wow thats cool, it sounds like I perhaps am on good location I live in Shiocton, Wi on the Wolf River, its its kinda between Green Bay and Lake Winnebago not far from each not to mention real close to some good trout streams in Waupaca so I think I will keep anchored here. As a batchler I am always looking for better fishing spots to live by, as fishings my life! Been in Shiocton two years and it surely seems like a fine location espeacially the deer hunting is really hot but MN. is always in the back of my mind, like should I make the move or not, I dont know much about MN. I have never fished it, so thats why I asked this. Thanks! | |||

| I'll take Minnesota anyday. Wisconsin has nothing even close to the boundary waters. Not to mention Crane, Mille Lacs, and Leech Lakes. There are also many fishing oportunities along the Superior coast. | |||

It does not get any more concentrated than that. Minnesota is known for fishing, Wisconsin is known for cheese. LOL
