Wulp, hit the bay this morning at 8:00am with the predicted 5 to 10 mph SW winds. Found sustained 15 mph S winds with higher gusts as usual. Started just East of "A" buoy and trolled against the waves towards the Crib. As we got closer to the West shore the waves calmed down but the wind stayed the same. So I turned the boat to run the ledge down past Hoyles and out towards Nayonquin Point, to stay out of the high waves. At this point we had 2 keeps but nothing else. Got as far as the Commercial nets south of the point and headed East to deeper waters. Switched over to the Crank/Meat program and starting hitting some nicer fish. About 11:30 seen the Big Black thunderheads forming and decided to point the boat back towards Hoyles. Then all hell broke loose on the CrankMeat side of the boat, and all very nice fish. Ended the day with 9 walleyes, 3 over 4 pounds and 1 over 5 in the mix. Sorry, don't have any pictures this time. When we got into the channel at Hoyles at 12:45 the rain was a pounding and the lightening bolts convinced me to send the clients home with the fish in the round.
