M_KOMO, I do not think that Winnebago has a good night bite like other places do. We typically will fish until the sun hits the tree line on the west shore and call it quits. I may be wrong, but my opinion, take it for what it is worth is all. I have never trlled after dark though, for the record!!! AXL

Was out yesterday and boated well over 70 Perch from 1-6pm. Caught most of them in the last two hours where I had to go down to 1 pole, b/c I couldn't keep up with them! I have never seen the Perch fishing like this, lets hope it continues for the future. As for the Walleyes, also caught 1 yesterday, and 4 a couple days ago, nothing much for size though. Has anyone else been on the eyes at all?

Caught a walleye, a smallmouth and a sheepshead. Guess which one was biggest? Sheepshead. About to give up on the bago, and start working the rivers. And your right tons of perch out there. Especially out of pipe. Lots of folks catchin fish. Perchin is fine, just cant seem to make the commitment to getting tackle.

Member Posts: 87 Location: Neenah, WI | Never really had much luck after dark, but don't usually need to stay out that long... Went out yesterday with 4 others in my boat to attack the reefs with jigs around Long Point. Only picked up 1 21" Walleye - no small ones. Couldn't believe the bite was that tough with a good SSE wind rockin the rocks. Especially on the small fish. We did pick up a few perch, but only caught a few sheeps also. Water temp dropped from 72 two weeks ago to 63 yesterday. Will likely drop much more this next week. I expect the rapid temp drop played a big role in my bad day yesterday. Things will pick up, tho. I'm not done yet.

Water temp was 68 on the north end today; must've had all the warm water blow up here. High winds and big water made fishing less than pleasurable, but speed drifting harnesses found a few for dinner.
