Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | All this PWT reporting and pictures got me itchy to bend a rod. With the possibility that I might fish a popular local clubs Fall River Classic on November 4th, I thought I better get out on one of the 3 rivers that's open in this event and see what it's fish holding status is. So armed with my custom tied, personalized Hutches Baitholder Jigs, along with 3 dozen (very hard to get this year) 3 inch blue shiners, I choose my favortite river (the Tiittabawassee) to start with.
We didn't catch a lot of walleyes in our 3 1/2 hours of fishing, only 2 walleyes in fact, but both decent fish compared to whats been happening on the Saginaw so far. I also lost what I believe was a bigger walleye and rounded the the day off with a catfish, pike and a smallie. But it felt good to get back in the groove.

Thank's Whale.
Both of them seemed to be fresh Bay arrivals, plump, agressive and great color, versus the anorexic cigar shape the resident river fish would be in at this stage of the game.
