Rainy Lake Northern 54 inches 44 pounds. I think the 44 pounds is just 2 pounds off the record.

That's all the info I have. What a pig.

Thats been around a while, and i'm pretty sure that it actually came from overseas.

That's a 43 lb fish from Holland, but it's a beauty!

Lots of conversation about this fish over at MuskieFIRST. It appears that this fish was from Europe, and is probably larger than the rumored weight. BIGGGGGG pike, for sure.
