Staying warm and comfortable is alway an issue when fishing. Two items that have kept me warm fishing in all conditions these last 15 years, are Wool Military glove liners and Military Balaclava Head liners. Both keep you warm even when wet. The gloves give you 100% freedom and do not deaden the feel of light bites telegraphed through the rod butt of your fishing rods like other heavier gloves tend to do. And you can still wear your favorite baseball cap over the balaclava head liner to protect your eyes from rain, snow or sun if you wish to do so. Both are also cheap items and together will cost you less than neoprene anything will. You can buy them in the Sportsmans Guide catalog or on-line at their site.
