Subject: Time

Time is a funny thing. Sometimes feeling endless and more often then not, fleeting. I've had a good lesson in the value of time recently, but more on that on my web site. Right now, it's time to get back in the swing of things and do a little walleye fishing.

Also, do yourself, and me, a little favor. Pick up the Auto Gazette and read the center section, called the OUTDOOR GAZETTE. It's being written by Dan Small, from Outdoor Wisconsin, and myself along with some contributuions from others including Troy Peterson and our own Johnny Rocket. The publisher is the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Community publishing group out of Appleton. It's a work in process and is getting growing participation from some of the J/S other "properties". Such as becoming part of the weekly Buyers Guide in some communities due to advertiser interest in those areas. Free classifieds for private parties too, so you can list your boat or motor or anything "outdoor" related for free. We have a growing list of writers we are talking to and after talking with them at the DU Festival, I am expecting contributions from Keith Kavajecz, Daryl Christensen, Tony Puccio and John Kolinski after they return from the PWT Championship. Hopefully we can get something from all of them as the weeks go by. Also looking for writers to cover the south western edge of our distribution. That's like the Wautoma area and west to the Wisconsin River. The paper is publishing stories on hunting, fishing, camping, water skiing, golf, back packing and ANY outdoor related activity. Always looking for ideas and stories of interest.

Contact me for details,

Thanks,

This time they bit good. Some dandy fish too. Caught walleye everywhere we fished with most bites coming in 14 feet to 22 feet, but we caught some in as little as 9 feet.
