well guys as of yesterday afternoon boat ramps were pulled in at both the Gladstone Yacht Harbor launch across from our home and the Kipling Launch as well. Skim ice was forming in the harbor areas, 1 boat rig was out of Gladstone Launch and seeing his broken trail out and into the lake.
Shore ice (thin) is now being seen all and around the lake, Big Bay de Noc as well is seeing the same conditions. Capt. Keith Wils and I talked last night and said in a ride he took yesterday afternoon the Bay out in front of Tylene's Restaurant was iced over as far as they could see.

Morning temps this morning dropped to 10' and lows to continue throughout the week with a slight warm-up on the weekend.

Fishing reports and with no anglers on the water I can't report. Do know however that just 2-nights ago water temps. at surface at 42'
I'm sure that is changing rapidly!

Looking like the 'hard-water" fishing won't be too far away. Keep in touch fisherman and we'll update conditions before the weekend.
Marty
