First of another month but a bit "frisky!" Morning temps at 6 am at 18' to 22' and some pretty stiff north winds.
Daytime highs upper 20's to the freezing mark.
All landings are still wide open with launch docks still in place, now it'll be a day-to-day process with the weather.
Temps. throughout the week having lows in the teens.

The overall "fishing-report!"
we've been busy chasing those woods "white-tails!" but hearing of some fair to good catches of walleye coming in. Also some really nice catches of eating size walleye which is good to seeing as well.
Best fishing times and afternoon in the darkness hours.
Daytime bites and jigging/rigging still taking some fish as well.

Stop in the shop here, "SHORELINE SPORTS CENTER" and we'll fill you in with the info you need.
we've still got choice Redtail Chubs and Suckers,
Looking for fishing info, call us at 906-233-0397 or email us at [email protected]

When is there usually walkable ice up that way, Marty?

Well Steve, generally we'll get good walking ice the last week of December although in the last few days with the cold over-nite lows into the middle teens this process could be speeded up!
Did see several boat trailers at the Gladstone Ramps this morning, those last
day walleye anglers!
We'll keep you posted everyday,
Marty
