i love this site, all the morons with no balls(signing in as guest) making snide remarks when odds are they dont know their ass from page 1. So guest, do you know what Doc went through with some of the moronic bar fly locals at last years event? I suppose your one of the Idiots that think you own the river, and are still PO'd about someone with the knowledge and know how to put on such an event that will possibly help those that arent as fortunate with time, or in some cases skill, to have a successful spring on the river. My guess is your upset because of the possibility of extra traffic so you cant catch and keep your 100 walleyes a night on your raft. So why dont you grow a set and sign up, ot atleast post your name, but like all the other yahoos, youll just respond as "guest" again and rifle off more snide remarks to make someone else look bad. Hey guest, actually if you want to know the truth,the bar owner reneged on the drink tickets so get your facts straight moron. That is one of the reasons why myself and a number of other people have not set foot in Bean City since last year. I put over 200 people in her bar on a Saturday afternoon and all I got was crap. No thanks for the big cash register ring for the day, just crap from a loud mouth moron. Here's the rest of the FACTS. I was attacked in the parking lot the afternoon before the event by one of her pet patrons. This after he had made two threatening calls to my house, one voice mail and the other threats to my wife ( what a chicken). After discussing the event with the local police, I was advised to call the Sheriff if he did anything else after the calls, which he did when he grabbed me by the throat. Her boyfriend asked him to leave because he had been threatening to disrupt the event for days, but the owner said no. She even lied to the Sheriff saying she had the scuffle on video tape from a security camera, which she didn't. Since the officer that showed up made the guy leave and recommended disorderly conduct charges be filed, I don't know how I did anything wrong but the owner was STILL ragging the next morning because I called to cops. So guest, go have your beer but don't pee down your leg if someone asks you to sign your name to something. I know I shouldn't respond to junk like that but, I do. I want people to show up who want to learn or share information about walleye fishing and the Wolf River system, not some whiner that didn’t get a free beer or some of the neandrethal locals who don't like the visiting fishermen. Our area needs tourist dollars, not local jerks and violators who piss and moan over the increased number of anglers and think they own the river. Tourist dollars are important to our communities, not local drunks who try to disrupt that flow of education and dollars.
